Return Policy


AT MAX-PERFORMANCE SPORTS & MORE, WE WANT EVERY PLAYER, COACH, PARENT, FAN, OR ANY ONE ELSE SHOPPING WITH US TO HAVE AN ENJOYABLE AND STRESS-FREE PURCHASE, WHETHER IT'S IN-STORE OR ONLINE.

 
IN-STORE RETURN POLICY
We want you to feel completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return an item covered by our Standard Return Policy within 14 days from the original date of purchase and receive a full refund or exchange. No refunds or exchanges will be provided without the original receipt. 
Items that are being returned must be in ABSOLUTELY BRAND NEW AND UNUSED/UNOPENED CONDITION; there are no exceptions to this. Additionally, all original boxes, bags, packaging and literature must be in new condition, unopened, and included with the returned product. Please make sure the items you wish to return meet these criteria prior to proceeding. This helps keep your prices low and our expenses to a minimum, which means we can keep bringing you great products at low prices along with great service. We are not a big box store and get rebates for returns; we cannot return what you open or use, therefore, we cannot refund or accept returns on what you have opened or used.

Items Not Eligible for Return: Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. The following items may not be returned under any circumstances:

  • Jocks & Undergarments - Due to the personal nature of the product
  • Mouthguards - Due to hygienic reasons
  • Special Orders, Custom Orders, Team Orders or other Special Accommodations
  • Customized Products - This includes jerseys with personalization
  • Blemished, opened, and/or used items or products of any kind
ONLINE RETURN POLICY
Much like in-store, we want every shopper on HockeyVancouver.ca to be completely satisfied with purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return an item covered by our Standard Return Policy within 21 days from the original date of purchase and receive a full refund. No refunds will be provided without the original receipt mailed back in the box. We extend an extra 7 days due to shipping time; however, irregardless of when you receive the item, it is still 21 days from the time of original purchase.

Shipping Costs on Returns: It is the buyer's responsibility to pay the return cost of shipping, and you are not refunded your original shipping costs. You will be refunded the item's purchase price, but not the shipping you paid for the order.

Exchanges: We do not accept exchanges; if you want to exchange an item, say for a different size, you ship back the original item and then simply purchase the new item from the website. You will be refunded the original item price, minus the cost of shipping, upon Max-Performance Sports & More receiving the product. This simplifies and expedites all orders.

HOW TO RETURN MERCHANDISE

Download the Return Authorization form  (Adobe Acrobat is required to view the form). Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return. Please then contact us at sharpskates@hockeyvancouver.ca for a return authorization email.

Returned merchandise must be in original condition, and include all factory packed accessories and paperwork (e.g. straps, unmarked warranty card, manuals etc.) in the original manufacturer bag/box and packaging with UPC, barcode, and serial number. Please take special care when opening products shipped in plastic clamshell packaging as we may be unable to accept a return for items with destroyed or damaged packaging. Removal or alteration of a product's UPC number or serial number label will automatically void any possibility of return for credit or replacement. Products that are returned to Max-Performance Sports & More with a missing or altered UPC or serial number will be returned to the sender. The product serial number must match the serial number in our database (Max-Performance Sports & More maintains serial number tracking).

Return merchandise must be double boxed with no writing on the manufacturer's box. We will not, under any circumstances, accept a return that uses the original box as the outer box or layer even if the items inside are different than what is depicted on the box (ie, no labels placed on original box! Must be placed in another box or shipping polymailer). Please ensure your filled out return form is included in the package. Returned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the buyer’s responsibility. It is important to save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to Max-Performance Sports & More.

We encourage customers to use either USPS or Canada Post to return items so there won't be any import fees (import fees are charged when using FedEx, UPS, or Purolator). If customer chooses to use a carrier other than USPS or Canada Post and import charges are billed to Max-Performance Sports & More, customer is responsible for these fees; the amount will be deducted from your refund. We strongly advise customers to use a traceable shipping method for their own protection and use USPS/Canada Post.
